Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP. This has been a great car, I've had it since new and have been using it almost exclusively to commute back and forth to Cal Poly SLO (with the exception of the occasional jaunt up the coast!) I've long since graduated and need more money to restore my fathers old 1965 GTO, so this car has got to go. The car is currently sitting at 58,400 miles, mostly on the freeway. It's wearing a new set of tires, I've got a couple thousand miles on the tread at most. There's a picture showing the current tread depth in the gallery. Unfortunately for myself, and luckily for the next owner, the car has an entirely new clutch assembly. Lost a seal on the hydraulic throw-out bearing a few hundred miles ago and decided to replace the clutches while the transmission was out. All the work on the car was done professionally. This car was used in all the advertisements when it was new and as such, receives a lot of attention. The Corvette Yellow paint was an extra $500 at the time. Looks pretty good with the rear spoiler and chrome 18" wheels. No cost was spared on this car, as it has every option in the book. Upgraded Monsoon stereo system with a 6 CD changer, MP3 jack and satellite radio antenna. The convertible top has the optional extra insulation as well so you can hear those upgraded speakers. Black leather seats, white stitching. The car is a 5 speed manual, the only REAL option for a performance car like, at this in my mind. As with any car, there are a couple negative points, although they're very small on this car. I'd just rather be upfront than dealing with an unhappy buyer on down the line. The car has a few small dings on the passenger door from another drivers door when the car was parked. I've included a picture of this, but they're kind of tough to see. They're really not too bad and could probably be popped out relatively easily, I just don't have anymore time to put into the car. There are a few little nicks here and there, mostly along the chin spoiler, but nothing outside of ordinary road use. Couldn't stand the look of the car with a bra covering the grille. Other than that, its a great little car! Pictures tell the tale. Pretty quick, smooth driving and still gets great gas mileage when you're not on the turbocharger. Handles like it was glued to the road! I know this car is a favorite of the AutoX guys due to its great handling. No funny noises, no check engine lights, nothing leaks or smokes. Non-smoker, never let food or drink in the car. Oil and filter were changed with Mobile 1 every 5,000 miles. Car is accident free, clean title, one owner. I think that covers just about everything, but if you've got any questions feel free and contact me!
