This rare 1940 Mercury Club Coupe was recovered a few years ago from an open field in New Mexico. The basic body and sheet metal is there, but most mechanical parts, trim and interior bits are gone. The sheet metal is surprisingly solid, this body is not very rusty. Study the pictures carefully, what you see is what you get. There is no engine or transmission. It does have a rear axle of unknown condition. The 40 Mercury Club coupe is a rare and beautiful automobile. This car could be the basis for a challenging restoration or street rod.
