Vehicle Detail

Great Classic Car - Do your own Graveyard Carz restoration project with this 1974 Plymouth Satellite Sebring I bought this car awhile back with good intentions of turning it into a Roadrunner clone, found most all the things I needed to do it online at a fairly reasonable price, already has Roadrunner hood; but it is still sitting in my building & I haven't touched it yet , i have adjusted the add , due to researching material and paperwork . i was told and bought the car here on ebay from a guy who said it had 22000 origanal milage , turns out i guess he flat out lied; i even talked on the phone with him for a long while ? oh well i just wanted to clear this up to poeple that had looked at my old listing . the carb and intake near new and are worth some money alone , and the origanal magnom wheels , well just price a set of those , and factory roadrunner hood. well anyway , its still a good deal for this car . now that i looked what i paid in the listing i printed when i bought it and price to have it shipped in . im losing money .. my loss is your gain. reserve is set close to buy it now , im losing hundreds on my total investment just for letting the car set there.. the last bid got to $ 1000 , no way its going that low , !! this car is almost 40 years old. look at some of the others on ebay and elsewhere they are wanting more $ and are full of rust ... So, I thought someone who will actually take the initiative to fix it up should have it; I have clear texas title in hand , texas tag on car says the year 1994 .& all original paperwork; New Edelbrock Valve Covers-never installed Car has been stored inside from the day I got it; it is factory powder blue. the parts on this car alone are worth more than im asking . just look up the cost on the wheels or roadrunner hood. if you are restoring a roadrunner , you can strip it and save a bundle. I drove it straight off the delivery truck about one mile to my house and straight into my new building and parked it, it hasn't moved since. But, I have started it & let it warm up a couple of times. I was shocked that it started right up and ran smooth the whole way back, I thought the brakes would be weak or loud noises for a car that set that long, but there was nothing. It hasn't been started since. but twice to warm it up about 20 minutes each , car ideled fine . car has set about 2 years , has a knot on couple of tires & I'm pretty sure the battery is dead. tires are bad but up with air but with large knots I had my mechanic check the car out; he went over the whole car & said it seemed to be in great shape, so we agreed that all fluids in the car needed to be drained, flushed, & replaced. He got a new job & I haven't hardly talked to him since he's working 6 days a week. Comes with some other goodies as shown in trunk picture; plugs , extra headlight , switches , origanal air cleaner . fan motor ,some new bulbs ..behind the seat i put a new gallon of antifreze and a new gallon of tranny fluid .I can't remember if I bought anything else to start the process, i think thats it ,but if I find anything else, I will put in the car.. Here is the description from the guy I bought it from: One owner: very straight & basically rust free body; car had been stored since 1994 and occasionally started; drove approximately 25 miles after bought; engine, transmission, and brakes are good; Engine is the original 318 that the owner added; carter competition carb/electric choke and Edelbrock intake; dual exhaust and runs very good; very tight engine;no noticeable engine or transmission leaks; Factory air conditioning-engages, just needs Freon; Power Steering, Power Brakes; Needs Paint, very light surface rust; original owner sprayed primer in thin paint areas to aid in rust prevention; minor rust is in left rear quarter(2 pinhholes, & 1 small hole on lip of quarter; otherwise solid; Trunk, Floorpans, Fenders, Doors, Rocker Panels are rock solid; left front fender next to headlight has a light skim of filler in a small area; Roadrunner Hood with surface rust only; Trim & badges are on the car or inside; All glass is good, bumpers are straight and solid; factory Magnum wheels; All turn signals, brake and reverse lights are working; windshield wipers are working; underside has light surface rust from sitting; Frame is solid; Interior is original, needs headliner; seat bottoms are good, front has small tear, backs are torn;original carpet;original jack, spare; When I bought, I noticed large dent underneath passenger door as shown in pictures-this was not stated in sellers ad, but what can you do? I was still happy with car. Buyer is responsible for moving vehicle from current location and shipping/pickup including any and all associated costs. I live on a steep hill; if you are planning on shipping, a shipping company truck can't get up my driveway & load up the vehicle. unless it is a rollback . i can jump it off and get it out of building down to the flat part of my drive way but i dont no if the tires can take the whole ride to the road ? The first thing the shipping company will ask is if vehicle starts & is ready to load, you are responsible for getting out of flat part of my driveway. a rollback can deliver the car right to the shipping truck for around ? $50 maybe less just to take it a mile. There is a flat secondary road at the bottom of my driveway that i can drive to if the truck can get down the curvy backroads 1 mile. it is a long straight stretch of road with hardly no traffic. we can load it there easy . I am only about 4 miles from interstate highway , but only a mile to main road . i would just drive it there but i dont think the tires will take it . the tires set in that barn so long they just ruined. communication between us and mover will be crucial in this move . if it wasnt for the tires i would drive it to the delivery truck and on the truck myself . This is all I know about this vehicle. I am honest, you can check my ratings, I would not lie about this. That is the reason I put the original seller's description in my ad, because other than driving it about a mile & starting it a few times, that is all I've done to the vehicle. You may need to bring a good battery and an air tank when delivered to you due to knots in tires & tires being so old. I saw a receipt in the paperwork that looks like he added air shocks to the vehicle also. i looked and he did. you can raise and lower the car from a air valve under the tag area. If you are one of those super whiny, picky, crybaby people, don't waste my time. this is an antique car that has been stored for a very long time & is not a museum piece. I don't mind questions, but no stupid ones please. I've run into some real nuts on ebay. Car is sold as is with no warranties/no returns. Should be an easy restoration!! $500 deposit via paypal required within 48 hours, prefer remainder in cash upon pickup On Feb-14-13 at 17:24:12 PST, seller added the following information: warning .. due to ebay .. this will be the last time i can list this car . i am not doing this just to trick sell this vehicle . i am being charged over $60 everytime i list . i did not know this . and good luck getting a hold of them too, in india? they were rude also . my wife was on the phone for a long time about to cry . over all this month i have sold about $400 and my bill to them was $ 400 . no way i can make money . they are charging all of us 10% and 10% on shipping . i am very mad . i used to tell everyone how great ebay was but now im going to do the opposite . just thought you all should know!!
