Up for bid is a 1927 Model T Coupe. It is tagged and titled. The tag is current. The motor and frame numbers match. This car came from New Mexico about 21 years ago handed down from father to son. The owner wanted it restored to drive and he had a body man and a mechanic agree to restore the car and had a local well known T and A engine builder do the engine. The 2 men working on the car had a falling out and let the T sit at the shop until the owner came and picked it up. He took it to a friends shed and it set for 20 years until I purchased it. I rebuilt the carb. and the front end. I put new bushing, races and great bearings in. I put on a new head gasket, changed the coils, put on a tail pipe and new muffler, changed the spark plugs, and the oil and it started. I put in new top wood (300.00 plus) The engine has been bored to .030 with Aluminum pistons. The transmission was also rebuilt. The seat springs are in great shape and the wood framing is usable a big saving in cost of parts. It has the original floor boards and battery cover. The deck lid is in great shape with no rust out or inner panel damage. The doors are in super straight condition with no rust out. They hang as good as the day they left the factory and open and shut easy. The floor has no rust out. The only rust out was in the wheel wells and and one side was fixed the other side had the rust removed and the repair was not made I think because of the falling out. The repair area is only about a inch high. The body is in great straight condition. All the trim is there. The hood is very nice. The fenders are in very nice condition but had some dents on the edges which they put body putty in. The car is very complete. The gas tank is clean on the inside. It comes with a nice spare wheel painted just like the ones on the car. Car must be picked up. I will help with loading. It comes with a great extra radiator . Winning bidder must pay $500.00 down within 4 days and the rest is due in 7 days from purchase date through pay pal. I can hold the car for several months until it is warmer if needed.
