Vehicle Detail
1979 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L 350 automatic t-tops with 89K miles. This is a very good start for an easy project. Mostly complete and ready for the finishing touches. This car has been off the road since 2006 and will need some work to be running again. Needs an alternator, fuel pump (have one), fiberglass work, paint work, t-top work (have a spare cracked t-top for parts, full exhaust, and I’m sure a few more thinks to be perfect. The glass is good except for the windshield has a crack in it. Paint is in decent shape, but does need some fiberglass work especially on the left rear (pictured). The paint shines well but has some runs in it and some other flaws. Looks good from ten feet away. There is one rust spot on the driver’s side floor, but that is it for rust. Interior is a little rough, but it is all there. The engine has some aftermarket parts like an Edelbrock intake and some other bolts ons. This car will be a quick easy project for someone to bring it back to where it should be. I do have some small miscellaneous parts for it as well as two sets of manifolds. It does need some work, but it’s a good starting point. There is no title for it, but I do have a bill of sale and a prior registration from Rhode Island from the previous owner which is all that Rhode Island requires. No titles are issued in Rhode Island for cars older than 15 years. I don't know too much about this car, but I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have. This car is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. I can deliver the car for an added fee. Please message me prior to the end of the auction to discuss delivery and to get a quote. I will also work with your shipper as well. You are more than welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder is due in cash within 7 days of the auction end. The car must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. If the car is left here longer than the 7 days without other arraignments made, it will be subject to a $20 per day storage fee.. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me.
