1985 Dodge Omni 2.2L 4 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission. This is a very rare car in this condition. Not many left at all. 68K original miles on it. Runs and drives well and was just taken off of the road. Still inspected and should pass inspection again. No frills simple car, but the interior is very clean with no rips in the seats. The carpet is very clean. Heat works well, has an AM/FM radio that also works. The dash is clean and not cracked. All of the glass is good. The motor and transmission were swapped years ago from a newer Omni. It was originally an automatic and now is a 2.2L with a 5 speed. Previous owner was a mechanic and took very good care of this car. It does have some little quirks, but not much for being a 27 year old car original car. The driver side window does work, but rolls up and down a little hard. The rear hatch doesn’t open from the outside, it probably needs a new handle. The clear coat is peeling off of the roof and hood a little bit. The motor has the typical slight knock at idle, but does not affect the drivability of this car. It still runs without an issue. Drips a little oil after sitting for awhile. The only rust is on the passenger side rear (pictured). Everything else is very clean and the frame is good. You would never know how old this car really is. It just got a new battery and a fresh oil change. Starts easily even at -3 degrees. This is a very good, clean car that is ready to go. Clean title in hand ready to transfer. The title does read true mileage unknown due to the engine swap, but the car does show as a low mile car as you can see in the pictures. I will also work with your shipper as well. You are more than welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder is due in cash within 7 days of the auction end. The car must be picked up within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made.
