Vehicle Detail
0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false WELCOME TO ANOTHER AUCTION FROM GRINDING LLC!!! Up for sale today is a 2006 Chevrolet Impala LS that is in GOOD CONDITION! The color of this great car is in GM’s famed Light Tarnished Silver while the interior features cloth charcoal seating. This vehicle is only a two owner and title is in hand and is clear. This Impala only has 139K miles and is still in great condition. The vehicle has always been serviced at the dealership (Circle Chevrolet) or been worked on by myself. The new owner can be assured that all they will need to do is get in and drive. At 101K miles, the transmission was replaced by GM. All the factory maintenance has been performed on 1/24/13 so everything is fresh. Not sure why the description says this Impala is FLEX compatible, but it is not. So what has been done? As of 1/24/13 Front and rear brakes replaced. Rotors still within normal limits. Caliper guide pins removed, greased and installed Complete brake fluid replaced Power Steering Fluid Replaced CV joints inspected and within normal limits Driver Side Lower control arm replaced Engine oil changed with Castrol Edge 5W-30 Filter replaced with AC Delco filter New AC Delco EVAP Control Valve How is the condition? Overall, the vehicle is in great condition, but with every used car, it has flaws. Lets go through them. Front Bumper: Lower fascia has scratches but can only be seen if under the vehicle. Air vents on both sides have minor paint chipping, but have been touched up. The passenger side of the bumper has minor webbing in the paint. Probably caused in a parking lot and was a love tap. Driver side body work: The body is straight down the line. Some minor scratches, but have been filled in. The top door sill on the driver door has a big paint chip. It is approx 1” long by 1/8” wide. It has also been touched up, but is not perfect. Rear bumper: Trunk deck lid has some minor scratches but no dents. Rear bumper does have damage. Just below the license plate, the bumper is torn in 2 places. It looks like the car was towed at one point and was mishooked and that’s when the damaged occurred. There is also some rippling on the face of the bumper skin. It is not bad, but is noticeable. Passenger side body work: The body is also straight on this side as well. There is some chipping on the door guard, but has been touched up. There is a small dent at the edge of the door that is closest to the front fender. Hood and Roof: The hood has the usual paint chips, but have been filled in. The roof is in great condition with no dents, rippling, or deep scratches. Windshield: There are two rock chips in the glass. One is severe enough that it will develop into a linear crack. Either the glass will need to be replaced or repaired. Tires: Cooper Tires all around and are in great shape. There is approx 10/32nds of tread on the rear tires and 8/32nds on the front. One wheel cover is damaged from curb rash, but still serves its purpose. Interior: The interior is clean. The normal wear and tear on the plastic pieces. There is a stress crack on the dash board on the passenger side pillar. Looking at it, I do not know what happened. There is also a small hole on the driver side seat pad. The side bolster is in fine shape. The Hinge on the armrest is broken. It is still functional, but the mechanism is sloppy.Lights: All the lights are working and are intact. The Drivers side headlight does have condensation that has formed inside. Overall: This Impala is a great driver’s car. It is not a show car and won’t win any awards, but if you want a reliable, dependable, worry-free car; then this will be the one for you.So the accident: Driving along a local road at night, a deer had come out and swiped the front left corner of the car. The car was stopped at a light when this happened. A local police officer was at the other side of the light and saw the deer come out and swipe the car. He turned on his blues and twos took down an accident report. Airbags did not deploy, but it is the reason why the front air dam has paint chipping and the headlight seal failed. What does it need?: The only thing this Impala would need would be an alignment. After replacing the control arm, the front end might be out a bit. Other than that, your oil is done, your brakes are new, and fluids have been changed. Local buyers are welcome to look at the vehicle for themselves and inspect it. A $500.00 Deposit is required 24 hours after the close of auction. Deposit can be made by PayPal. The remainder of the balance is due 3 days after the deposit has been made.
