I am listing this 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL with about 96,000 miles for a retired dentist within the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay Area. He's the 2nd owner and is selling because his wife can't drive anymore. This is an accident free vehicle. This Mercedes is in magnificent condition. VERY well taken care of... Always garaged... Babied all the way, and no rust anywhere (that I could see)!! This Benz was purchased in 1974 when it had less than 2,000 miles. It had a recent fuel injection cleaning and new shocks. Owner has extensive vehicle history folder of all the work done since he purchased it. I drove the Benz and it runs very well... It's tight and drives straight. Everything works as it should including A/C. Original hardtop included too. To sum it up, if you are looking for a classic SL then I think this one deserves serious consideration.
