RE-LISTING due to non-paying bidder. For resto or parts, this nicely-optioned Hornet sedan. Car has only 28K documented orig. miles; been in a storage bldg. since 1971. One owner -- a black community leader in Edgewater, FL, who bought it new in ‘52. This is from his estate. Dk Blue over Texas Tan. Has the desirable high-compression 308 CID Straight 6, HydraMatic A/T, oil filter, and radio. Vehicle rolls and steers. No braking action. Engine is complete, clean, and turns by hand; haven't tried to start it. Only bad parts of this car are really the side glass (cracked but weathertight), back seat ass’y, trunk floor & lip, and the rockers. Both windshields, F&R floors, dash/instruments, sill plates, and the roof are VG. Windows roll up and down. Gas tank, which I've removed, needs modest repair & a cleaning; good straps are with it. Car is surface-rusted underneath. Orig. upholstery is there, for patterns. Front seat bottom missing. If you’re handy at bodywork and the spot repair of rust-thru, you can put this car back on the road pretty easily. Pair of good '52 Hudson Hornet fender skirts will be sold separately for $220, shipped, or cheaper with this deal. Open FL title, upon request of the winner I can get a new one from VA for my cost.
