I am selling my personal Camry I have owned for the last 5 years. Why? I found a great deal on a newer Camry. I have a 200 mile + commute that is ALL HIGHWAY miles. That is why this Camry has 268K miles. This car still runs good and has plenty of life left in it. Transmission shifts very smoothly with no issues. Heat, air conditioning (very cold), cruise control, electric windows/ locks all work as they should. Complete brake job about 20K miles ago that included new front pads and rear shoes. Rotors/ drums were turned for smooth brake operation. Also bled all brake lines to replace with new fluid. Michelin tires are about 65% worn and are OK. Oil changes completed every 5000 miles. This car gets 28-32 miles per gallon. Drives very straight and true with no vibrations at high speeds. I have never had any accidents in this car. Interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears. Paint (still shines) and body is in good shape for age. A few small scratches and parking lot dings. The bad: The windshield is cracked at the very top and side of the window. Also has a small chip. Delaware DID pass this during inspection twice because it is hard to see. Also check engine light has been on for 2 years. I checked the code a long time ago and it is a sensor I think. It has never affected the performance or gas mileage so I did not worry about it. Has a very small valve cover leak. Had the same leak about 100k miles ago and the valve cover gasket fixed it. I have a new Fel Pro gasket I purchased but did not install yet (easy fix). I can give you this gasket (if requested) with the sale of the car. The car will smoke for about 5 seconds when first started after sitting for long periods of time (valve seals?). Does not smoke while driving. It will use about a quart of oil about every 3 to 4 thousand miles. Not a big deal and has been doing this for over a 100k miles and does not seem to be getting any worse.
