Vehicle Detail

This will be the final listing of this auto on ebay so bid to win. I'm happy to arrange for an inspection of the car either by you or your agent. Mostly original 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. 403 Oldsmobile engine with 3 Spd automatic transmission. Four wheel disc brakes and Dunlop GT Qualifier tires. Positraction rear with 8 x 15 aluminum gold wheels. Does not have original stereo. Aftermarket AM/FM/CD with updated under deck rear speakers. Driver's side seatbelt receptacle is broken. Paint is thin and fading on some areas. There are a few dings but are tough to see in the photos. This is a nice driver quality car that is now 34 years old and unrestored. So to be clear it is not a perfect car and has wear. I reserve the right to cancel any suspicious bids as well as those with negative and zero feedback. Don't waste mine or your time if you don't have the cash in hand. Sale will be for cash only - NO EXCEPTIONS. Paid within 7 days by buyer or buyer's agent. On Jan-20-13 at 15:51:37 PST, seller added the following information: In response to questions. The AC was used this past summer and was really cold although the vents don't switch between vent/floor/defrost correctly. The fan works at all speeds. Engine starts nicely with no smoke or knocks and runs nicely. I only drive it a few hundred miles per year and so it sits in the garage mostly. There are literally only a few drops of oil under the car during months of storage. This seems reasonable to me. I have no idea if all of the numbers match but I have always assumed so. Tell me what you want to check and I'll look. The engine does not run hot and has never overheated since I've owned the car. I have only done required maintenance. Carb seems in great shape. Starts well. Cold choke operates correctly. Accelerates smoothly. This is not an economy car :-) 12 to 15 MPG...maybe. The doors close well and in my opinion do not seem to require new hinges. This is often an issue on these cars due to the length and weight of the doors. All of the gauges appear to work. The clock does not keep the correct time. I am not aware of any rust. If there is a photo of a specific point of concern I'd be happy to take it. Keep in mind I do not have a lift so for under body requests I'll do what I can. On Feb-01-13 at 17:27:32 PST, seller added the following information: Will consider trade for 1969 Sport Satellite/GTX.
