For auction with No Reserve is my highly sought after 1971 Dodge Challenger. This Challenger is numbers matching including the 318 motor, Automatic Torqueflite transmission, and rear end. It has the original vin in place on the dash, the fender tag under the hood, the door sticker on the door, and the vin stamp on the radiator support, all matching. I have the original Bill of Sale from October 13th, 1970 when a 1962 Studebaker was traded in on the purchase with a credit of $237.05. Original paperwork, manuals, and more. This Challenger is nearly all original and it has been kept the way it was when new. It still wears the original Deluxe wheel covers, correct shade of Bright Red (E51X) Paint, black Vinyl roof, and the original AM radio. It was ordered with undercoating and most all the undercoating is still in place. The only upgrade was the dual stainless headers with flow master mufflers. It is in San Diego, California. I will sell to bidders worldwide. This Challenger is an absolute dream to drive. It operates as good as new, or better. It handles perfectly, super tight suspension, zero squeaks/rattles, quiet, rides very smooth, responsive, just perfect. Comfortably drives with one hand on the steering wheel, turns lightly, easily breaks the tires loose if you hit the throttle. Stops exactly as it should. No vibrations or pulling it rides straight and true, not a single issue at all. No leaks of any kind. I would trust it to drive from here to Miami and back right now. It does not need a single thing everything has been done to maintain it mechanically and to keep this Challenger extremely reliable. The 318 isn't bad on gas either, but still has plenty of power to demand your position on the street. This 71 Challenger has never been torn apart and it is wearing all of the original body panels. Front and rear valances are excellent. It starts right up and idles perfectly. The lights, buzzers/minders, gauges, heater, wipers, radio, indicators, interior lights, everything works. The body is very straight, no rust bubbles at all. The paint is in excellent condition as you can see. It was redone professionally in a 2 stage paint with the correct color code and decal scheme and shows no bubbling, runs, or orange peel. The vinyl top, all the seats, carpet, headliner, package shelf, door panels, steering wheel and visors are all nearly perfect. I have USA made original Mopar wheel well trim because the current wheel well trim has some imperfections, and a new USA made rear bumper because the original rear bumper has aged along with new USA made bumperettes. Also including new USA made door arm rests to replace the slightly worn driver side arm rest. Nearly all the other bright work is close to flawless. This is not a perfect Challenger, but it is very very nice and it is always garage stored. It is extremely hard to find a Challenger that is nearly 100% correct and unmodified. I took a couple videos and many photographs. California Clean/Clear Title and 2013 registration. I am selling my Challenger because I do not use it enough, and I have too much of my net worth tied up into it. Again, selling with No Reserve.......
