First I have heard of it , guess I should spend a day reading their small print. I'm so sorry if your time was waisted , I know how much it offends me. That after almost 20 years with 100% feed back , this is the way they deal with this. Interesting that I have used the same technique, for many other ads and this is the first time it has been mentioned. Any ways , now I really want this bike gone, to make room for the new one. Wife is on the War Path becsue she can't get her car in the garage. So I have set the buy it now at about the price of the last bid , a great deal , so lets Get -Er Done! Awesome BMW police model R 1100 RTP 2000 model. This bike is in beautiful condtion. Starts easy, Runs smooth and drives straight and tight. It has good tires and a strong battery. It has a little over 83,000. miles . I have seen a lot of these police bikes but this one is different. It has really nice paint and finish, a few small blemishes , but looks sharp to anyone . I have never seen a high mileage bike that had such a nice finish. The only flaws are some small wear marks on the edge of the tank and one chip on the right side in the white panel. I have touched them up , so looks real good. I have had a few Rt's and know how they handle , this bke handles very well, does not pull and seems in excellent balance. No wobble or looseness. Given that it has fairly new tires, its a solid machine for the highway. Some of the details , strong battery, starts easy, runs smooth, idels well, windshield is a little hazy (not Bad )no big scratches, turn signals work, Horn works , power windshield works as it should , The bike has had a dual seat installed , the front portion is either a custom or a custom cover, done well and in good shape with no tears. It is very comfortable . It also has full size bags and a luggage rack form a stock RT. So it looks like a police model but has all the goodies of a stock bike. Hard to find like this and costly to do the conversion. So a great deal to the right buyer. I saw this bike on Craigslsit and bought it on a whim, mainly because i wanted to take a 350 mile trip with some friends. Normally I ride a sport bike on short trips. So I checked the bike over , touched up the little paint scratches and took it on the trip. It stared well and ran well the whole way. I have only had it a few weeks and ridden it the one time. Time to move it out of the garage so I can get that new sport machine. Issues , most everything works as it should except the headlite, it works on high beam only , either a bad switch or a bad bulb? The Bike had been sitting for a long time when I got it and the clutch slipped a little on take off. But after warm up there was no slipping at all. Didn't slip on the trip and it was 350 miles in one day. It drives very well and suspension and most everything acts as though it was well cared for and probaly had many new parts installed as part of the Police program. The previous owner must have taken very good care of it and told me he covered a number of States on it, before selling it. So a very nice bike , great shiny paint , but it has 83,600. miles Its not new and is sold with no warranty , As-IS and where is. There are a few switches which must have worked police stuff that do nothing . also two small open spots on the dash (not sure what was there) a small cover would dress it up . in the center of the handlebar there are two mounting posts for some kind of police thing , but would make a great spot for a GPS mount. Comes with one key and it fits the ignition and the saddle bags. Reserve is low and I'm starting this at .99 Cents so it sells , I need to get it out so I can get my new bike. You get what you see, its a police bike and has lots of miles . nice but not perfect. Please plan to go forward with the purchase and meet the terms of this sale.
