I bought this 2007 Honda Civic EX as the second owner in late 2010 after owning a BMW and I was tired of paying an arm and a leg for maintenance. This car has treated me well and I haven't had any issues. I have decided to switch to a different type of car. I have been averaging 29.5-32MPG consistently at every fill up which includes about 5 minutes of local driving on both ends and 15 minutes on the highway as my daily commute to work. The 2007 model was the second year of the new body style which they are still using today.I just had the car VIP detailed and pictured today - 1/16/13!! The vehicle looks amazing! They did an amazing job inside and out, and it almost makes me want to keep the vehicle! I am currently using the vehicle as my daily driver, around 30 miles a day. If it sells in one week, I expect the mileage to be somewhere around ~163,500. Key things to note:The tires are like new, I bought them soon after I bought the car so they are 2 years old. A dealer recently asked me if the tires were new, so they will last a very long time because I bought the highest rated tires that could be bought for the Civic. The Michelin HydroEdge 205/55R16. They are awesome and are a very long lasting tire. You can probably go another 80-100K before they will need replaced. In addition, I paid out of pocket to upgrade to the newer style (2008 and on) rear tire control arms. This change greatly reduced uneven tire wear and will provide you with a great long term benefit for the life of the tires. The car's oil change was done within the last 300 miles and shows as 100% on the oil change meter in the dash. During that appointment, the tech said the engine looked great and that this engine will last a long time and he couldn't tell it had a lot of miles on it. Civics are known to last almost forever, 300K+ miles. The car runs very well - quietly and smooth and shifts flawlessly. These model Civics don't have timing belts, they have a timing chain and that doesn't need replaced, so this vehicle is well designed for long lasting affordable use. This car has been garaged at home. The transmission fluid probably needs changed in the next 15-25K miles. This vehicle is very very reliable, simple, and affordable. If you are looking for a great price and an easy low maintenance vehicle at a low cost with very little depreciation left to go, then this is definitely the vehicle for you! Here are some key features worth pointing out:The Civic I have is an EX model -- this is the upgraded model from the LX model and therefore it includes the following EX upgrades:Sunroof/Moonroof for sunny days.The back seats fold down from the trunk incase you have something long that you need to fit in the vehicleIt comes with premium alloy wheels, cruise control, controls for music on the steering wheel.It has the premium alloy wheels and they look great! Includes the additional winter rubber floor matsAir conditioning, power windows, power locks, audio system. Additional custom installed XM Sat Radio has been installed and is included. I had the rear control arms replaced to the newer version which reduces tire wear and improves the life of the tire. The pictures at the end show all of the minor scratches and wear I could find on the vehicle, and the passenger side interior light bulb at the ceiling doesn't work but the driver side does work, so I haven't needed to change it.
