Here is a no expense spared 1985 mustang drag Resto Mod street car with new black cherry paint. Drive it to the race track and pushes 800 Crank HP and easily capable of more and RUNS ON 93 PUMP GAS! Also has full interior and not chopped up and gets 12.5 MPG... This mustang has more done to it then I could post. Engine is a built 408 stroker built on a bullet proof Dart block with all forged eagle internals and Aluminum dart pro 1 heads. Engine has only around 3000 miles or so on it and is blown by a novi 2000 at around 10 lbs of boost with the stock pulley and capable of around 20 lbs of boost with upgraded pulley. Just to get an idea of how much money has went into this car the engine alone cost me 10 grand and the drive shaft alone cost me $800.00 to hold the power the engine makes. I have a TKO 600 5 speed that was purchased from MMR racing "NAMED MMR PRO TRANS 900" to handle 900 plus HP cost me $2700.00 before shipping and is a 9 second capable 5 speed transmission. You can read about the MMR pro trans at modularmustangracing website. All the gears and shafts were cryo treated. I purchased a Mcloud twin disc clutch good for 1200 HP and cost $1400.00 alone. Also has SNOW stage 3 meth injection kit to cool charge for even extra added horsepower $500.00. C&S specialties 900 CFM blow through carb $1300.00. That's just a sample of how much money went into this car not counting labor! I went with a 5 speed because #1 I like to shift and #2 you can drive it on the street and cruise down the interstate at 70 MPH in 5th gear no problem and still get decent gas mileage. Has a new for 9" nodular rear with 31 spline strange axles and high dollar clutchless Detroit truetrac posi to get traction which the Detroit truetrac was over 1 grand alone. This car feels like a jet plane taking off. No way to describe the fun this car is and has not been torn up! Body is straight and paint decent and car has never been wrecked. I have around 40 grand in this car and I have TONS of receipts. Has new good year drag radials on it. Come see this car and you will see that I have not spared a dime on the build. I have not begin to tell everything I have done to this car and it is a must see to appreciate. If you have a clue as to what kind of work and money it takes to make a car capable of handling horsepower in these ranges you know its had some money put in it. Has new heater core and all heater items work fine but I think there is a vacuum line bad somewhere? You turn the heat on and it's cold. And the gas gauge works off and on. Not sure why but when I fill it up I just reset the odometer and now when I get to around 125 miles its time to get gas again. That's it! All the rest is perfect... SHIPPING. The pulley should bring boost levels from 10 lbs to around 20 lbs and should bring the car to around 1000 HP. The fuel system and carb are large enough to handle 1000 HP and the car is built to handle it and I made sure of it when I had this car built. All you will need is a smaller belt.
