We are just minutes away from DFW airport as well as Love field. If you need to fly in to pick up your vehicle we would be glad to pick you up at the airport. All vehicles are located in our warehouse facility. What is the source for your inventory? We have many different sources for the vans and vehicles we stock. Most of our vans come from either a government or private corporate vanpool. This means that they are one owner, fleet maintained, clear car fax vehicles. When necessary vehicles may be purchased at dealer sales, at off-lease sales, directly from large franchise dealers, or from credit unions and banks. The vehicles we retail on eBay are usually late model (2006 and newer) and have good miles and may still be under a factory warranty. We resell cars with clean titles only, this means we never retail salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, insurance claim, flood or other gray market vehicles. Do you have all titles on hand for your vehicles? We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale, titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer in Texas and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell. Findmeavan.com sells over 200 vehicles a year--that means the movement of vehicles and title are a constant at our dealership. If having title on hand is of critical importance to you, please call to verify its disposition prior to contracting for sale. What 'other' fees are there besides the purchase price and shipping cost? The other fees include taxes, shipping and documentation charges. If you live in Texas, you must pay 6.25% of the sales price of the car as a tax to the state. All buyers are required to pay a $40.75 State Inspection Fee, Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) tax of .002442% of the purchase price. (The VIT Tax is based on the county in Texas where the dealership is located, FindMeAVan.com is located in Tarrant county). There is a $100 state fee which includes registration and plates, as well as making and sending you a new title. There is also a $100 doc fee. for handling paperwork, filing titles, mailing and copying costs, these fees are fixed and non negotiable. If you purchase out of state your fees only include the $100 doc fee, you will be responsible for filing your own title and paying your own taxes in your state of residence. How is shipping of the vehicle arranged, can I get a quote? We are happy to handle all of the details of shipping your new vehicle to its new home. Common shipping terms include: - Open Carrier - You've seen these trucks, 10 cars on a truck, running down the highway. This is the most economical way to transport, but because of the risk of additional rock and element damage, many higher dollar and specialty cars must be shipped enclosed carrier - Enclosed Carrier - You vehicle will be transported in a closed container, this eliminates the damage that can come from exposure to the road and the elements, this is typically several hundred dollars more in cost. - Insurance - All vehicles are covered by insurance while in transport, you will need to provide insurance once you take delivery of the vehicle. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept certified cashier checks drawn on US Banks in US funds. We also accept financing checks from your local bank or credit union. We require a $1000 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction, paid through Paypal. *Note- The vehicle deposit is non-refundable Do you do any financing? No, we do not. We recommend private financing. Most finance companies that work with dealers subject their clients to extremely high rates, whereas personal financing from a local bank tends to be much more client friendly. Even though we don't offer financing we are happy to work with your local bank or credit union to get the paperwork processed and your deal financed. In most cases it takes less than a day to get the paperwork finished. I live out of state, how does the buying process work if I am paying cash? We send you duplicate copies of the bill of sale, one for you to keep, and one for you to sign and return 6. When we receive the signed bill of sale, we FedEx all title documentation 7. What type of service do you do to the cars before selling them? All cars are professionally cleaned before sale. The vehicle undergoes a 88-point "Certified Pre-owned" mechanical inspection. If there are any mechanical issues noted during inspection, they are addressed before the car is sold. Any issues that we elect not to fix are disclosed in full in our eBay listing. How do I know the car is in the condition stated? We are experts in the auto business and have personally inspected thousands of vehicles. All of our vehicles are certified pre-owned, meaning that we also take every vehicle through an 88-point inspection.
