Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE Description: Great low mile truck for work or play that runs superbly. This truck has been well maintained and driven mostly easy highway miles. It was purchased new by my Grandfather in Southern California and was used by him for approximately 2 years to pull their 20' Prowler 5th wheel trailer. After that time it was used for local errands and such (garage kept too!). Since 2009 it has been with me in sunny Arizona. While it was in my Grandfather's possession the oil changes were done at the Dodge dealer. After it came to me I took it to Shell for Rotella T. Without a load, at 70 mph you can get an honest 20 mpg. It starts well, runs and shifts beautifully and has power to spare. As you can see in the photos, the interior is in great shape. The driver's seat still has plenty of cushion and the upholstery is in great shape - no rips, tears or excessive wear. Why am I selling? It's just too small for our family, with the extra cab being quite tight for 3 kids. Plus it has been relegated to my stay at home wife's vehicle and gets driven infrequently (5,000 miles per year or less) and it would be much happier getting used more often. Recent Service Work: The batteries were replaced last year (both). New tires (less than 5,000 miles ago).Oil changed (100 miles ago)Starter Solenoid RebuiltInjection Pump & Lift Pump - Replace by Tempe Dodge ($4k)AlignmentFront Windshield Problems, Wear & Tear: There are a few bumps and bruises that are noticeable in the photos - small crease in the bumper (drivers side), dent in the top left rear of the bed (5th wheel caused?), broken interior light (left side), under hood noise insulation removed (wore out), cracked dash (although it never went a day w/o a dash cover), slight (1") crack on center console lid, windshield has a small chip on the passenger side. Mechanically, for about 2 years now there has been a small oil leak that seems to be coming from the front of the motor near the bottom. Maybe 2 or 3 drops when you park is all that it leaks - at most (never gotten any worse). Please note that the "eye brows", one of which was cracked, have been removed (1" rub mark was under the passenger side, probably from it coming loose and moving in the wind). Accidents: None. The only exterior damage the truck has ever had, was paint damage from an automatic home entry gate that shut on the passenger side extended cab door as my grandfather drove through. It did not even dent it, but it did scratch the paint (8" scratch) before he stopped. It was professionally repaired at a reputable body shop but it has been +5 years since the repair and in the right lighting is becoming discernible if you know where to look (see photo of the passenger side taken from the rear). Payment: A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500 is required within 24 hours via PayPal. The balance is due within 7 days of close.
