RELISTED due to a phony "Buy it now" non-buyer. I have removed the buy it now so the auction will go till the end. 1972 VW Beetle Classic. Very solid body and floor pans. Recent repaint with original factory color (paint 7 out of 10). Brand new Kumoh tires, new brake shoes and master cyl, new starter, new generator, new battery. Car runs and drives excellent! This would be an excellent car to drive as is or if you want to have a near perfect bug this would be the one to start with. It has new carpet, the headliner is in excellent condition. All lights work, previous owner put on aftermarket steering wheel, NO horn button. The seats need recovered, there is no radio, dash pad is not terrible but would need replaced to be show quality. I will be happy to provide any pics you want and answer any questions you have. Showing 31,000 miles, I have no idea if it has rolled over once or twice. If you know your VW's you know this a 72 in this condition is extremely rare! Reserve is low, I welcome all inspections so if you bid be prepared to own this very nice Beetle. On Jan-10-13 at 14:22:48 PST, seller added the following information: I have added more pictures. Both door panels and the headliner are very good. The floor pans are all solid, carpet is pretty new. Front seats need to be recovered or replaced (I would just recover as the seats are still solid), the back is missing the upright part (I may have one bought for it, I'll know soon), the driver's side rear panel is just o.k. the pass side needs to be replaced (again, I'm trying to locate one). I did not glue it together because I did not want to hide it's condition in the pictures. All the metal inside the trunk is solid and no rust present.
