Fairlane 500 Thunderbolt Super Car 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Thunderbolt Reproduction. The original 427 powered '64 super car was the fastest production car of it's time. Now you can own a piece of Ford history. This reproduction was a bottom up construction with attention to detail. From the fiberglass hood to the fiberglass trunk lid this car screams quality. The car is powered by a very healthy 429 Thunderjet engine developing over 400 horsepower conservatively. The transmission is a C4 automatic transmission shifted by a B&M Ratchet Shifter. A 3500 stall speed converter connects the engine to the transmission. 800 cfm Holley double pumper on a Stealth intake. Crane 278 camshaft. Cool Air induction with the factory style dual inlet RAM AIR system. Has a 3.50 rear gear. This car is road legal. The front end has been updated with the suspension from a Mustang II and Heidt's rack & pinion steering. Interior is original with factory original seats. Very High Quality job done building this car. Some minor wear noted here and there, but this car is in great condition. Garage Kept. Adult Owned and Driven. Meticulous service and up keep.
