Vehicle Detail

This is 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Diesel. 90,000 miles on the odometer. Not sure of actual mileage, but it could be that low. The interior (other than the headliner removed) is in very good condition. This model has the rear facing seat so it seats 8 people total (3 in the front, 3 in the middle and 2 rear facing seats). It is a wagon. The rear window rolls down electronically from the front and still works. The exterior is in good condition, with a few dings and dents but not bad at all for its age. The original rims come with vehicle. This is a collector for sure. The running condition of the vehicle is overall good. It is diesel, and we are in Northern New Mexico which has seen -20 tempatures lately, and isn't liking to start in such cold. It does have an onboard heatercore, but is just not really enough. It will start under these conditions, but takes awhile, but is a hard hard start on cold mornings. ONce started though, it is good to go for the day. Runs like a dream, like a cloud on the freeway. Makes weekly trips to Albuquerque (266 miles round trip) and cruises nicely on interstate at 80 MPH. Just made a 1700 miles round trip to East Texas and back for the holidays. There are issues, like a small oil leak on the top end. Needs to be topped off occasionally. Uses no coolant. The tires are about 50% tread. The starter was just replaced ($220). Truly a collectors item. They just don't make them like this anymore. Feel free to ask and all questions. I will post answers here. $500 deposit due immediately. Full payment in 7 days. Vehicle must be removed within 14 days (picked up or shipped). PayPal only. Thanks you for bidding. More photos will be uploaded tomorrow. This is stock photo of the vehicle. On Jan-15-13 at 22:42:50 PST, seller added the following information: ATTN: The car, as stated before is having a hard time starting. We have had a serious cold snap in El Prado with temps -20 below zero, and the car has not wanted to start. Normal for this kind of weather, but wanted to let potential buyer know. ATTN: There is also a brand newly rebuilt stanadyne injection pump, rebuilt out of Texas. $500 with shipping. ($1500 part new) with the upgraded flex ring.
