I am selling my 1996 Ford F-350 4x4 powerstroke diesel. The truck has 200,000 miles and the truck runs and drives great. The 4x4 works great. The truck has a newer starter and an aftermarket heavy duty towing hughes torque converter. The transmission shifts great as it should. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. The truck is in good shape but the body does need some attention before it gets to bad. Both front fenders have a little rust all the way through. Both rear fenders have a little rust. The bed is definately able to be fixed. The bed foor is solid. The floor pans and body mounts are all solid. Tires are not the greatest. Rears are bout 0& and fronts are about 40%. The rear sliding window is broken. The truck could probably use batteries. I bought brand new interstates bout 3 years ago and they have been junk since new when it gets cold out. When it gets cold the batteries start to go down. When its halfway warm out the batteries are fine. When its cold out the exhaust backpressure valve sticks which is very common for these trucks. All this valve does is close when its cold out to help warm the motor up. You hear a swooshing sound from the exhaust because of this. When you get on the gas, it quits, again this is fairly commonl for this valve to stick in cold weather, just check www.powerstroke.org. The interior is in pretty good shape. Has some stains on the carpet and is a little dirty. The rear bumper has a dent in it.On Dec-08-12 at 21:31:07 PST, seller added the following information: The tailgate has some dings in the top and the pass side bed rail has a dent from a big piece of firewood falling on it.
