Vehicle Detail
Yesterday I pushed this 1972 Suzuki T350 out of the barn where it had been parked for about 15 years. The guy I bought it from had acquired it from the original owner but he never rode it. Luckily he's a knowledgable guy who put some light oil in the cylinders and turned it over infrequently - so it's not 'stuck' - it kicks over with good compression. The bike hasn't run in at least 15 years and will need the usual to get running again. It has 12,085 miles on it. I don't know what the story is with the blue paint on the topsides of the tank and side covers, I sure wish the first owner hadn't done that..... The inside of the tank has just a few light patches of surfast rust but its 90% bare-metal clean. There are no dents in the tank. The original seat has no rips or tears. The exhaust looks good and feels solid. This bike came from Diaz Brothers Suzuki in Turnersville, where I worked in the mid 70's, so I may well have seen this bike before - like 40 years ago. If you're looking at this ad you know how hard its getting to find decent and unmolested two-stroke street bikes from the 70's. The key is in the ignition and it comes with a valid NJ title signed by the original owner as the second never titled it in his name. If you are interested in this fine bike, please read all of the following BEFORE bidding because by pressing the ‘Place Bid’ button on this auction you are agreeing to all of this fine print: Payment is expected within three days of auctions end via PayPal unless you pick it up in that time frame in which case cash will be welcome. The bike should be picked up within 14 days of auctions end. if you're using a shipper thats fine, I will work with the shipper you select however you should begin making those arrangements BEFORE auctions end. Many of my customers have used uship.com and experience says that the cheapest shipper isn't necessarily the most professional. I will recommend a shipper if you like but I won't make arrangements for you. Please see my 100% rating and take time to read Feedback from my customers if you have any questions about doing business with Uncle Pleasant! MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BID ON MY AUCTIONS: Unfortunately, I can no longer accept bids from any bidder with a history of less than (10) transactions or ANY negative feedback. Bidders not meeting these minimum requirements must contact me before bidding or risk having their bid cancelled or ignored - even for the winning bidder - at my discretion.
