Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 2006 Cadillac CTS-V. The car currently has approximately 83,500 miles on it and is very good condition. The exterior is Stealth Gray with Black Leather Interior. The interior on the V's is all leather with suede inserts on the centers of the seats. The windows are all lightly tinted and the stock wheels have been professionally recoated gray graphite metallic. The car as the following aftermarket add-ons: Volant CTS-V cold air intakeG-Force drive axle.Spectrewerks-type trunk spoiler.Official GM licensed "V" logo floor mats (I also have the new, unsed factory mats).Line-in port for using stock BOSE radio with iPod, iPhone, MP3 Player, etc.Clear running light/turn signal light units.HID-Fog Lights.Slotted and cross drilled rotors with ceramic brakes (both front and rear).Corsa Exhaust System (sounds incredible!!!). The interior of the car is in very good condition (I would say a solid 9 out of 10). The carpets, seats, console, dashboard, and headliner are all in excellent condition. The only thing of note is that the buttons on the factory navigation system are chipped as happens on virtually all of these cars. Everything works exactly as it should. One thing worth noting is that there is a separate switch for the windshield washer under the dash as the system has a tendency to come on by itself when the wipers go on. The exterior of the car is in very good condition as well (I would say a solid 8.5 out of 10). The paint is glossy and clean, with a few minor scratches consistent with any seven year old car. There is a small shallow dent (about an inch across) in the roof by the sunroof, but you really have to look at it to know it is there. Mechanically, the car performs awesome! The engine is smooth and powerful. The car has the 400 HP, 6.0 liter V8 LS-2 engine. It starts right up every time and is tremendously energetic! There are NO leaks or strange noises, and all fluids are synthetic and clean. The Tremec T-56 shifts smoothly and the clutch is tight and responsive. The car drives very tight and goes down the road straight as an arrow. The suspension is tight and the car holds the road incredibly. All 4 tires were replaced earlier this year with high performance AA traction rated unidirectional Fusion UHP's. The only thing that I am aware that the car needs is the bank 2 catalytic converter, The check engine light comes con periodically, and the only code that shows up is bank 2 catalyst efficiency. If the buyer of the car wishes I will have the converter replaced before the sale of the car, but that will add to the price. There are NO known mechanical issues beyond the catalytic converter. As you can see from my feedback, I tell it like it is. One thing to note is that the car DOES have a salvage title due to a previous accident. I have researched the accident, and there was NO frame damage or mechanical systems damage, but the front bumper and right front fender were replaced due to an accident with another vehicle. Nothing else was changed. Personally I never cared about the note on the title as I purchased the car for myself and could care less about the salvage notation, however due to a change in my personal situation I now have need to sell the car. The car has been fully inspected by the NY DMV after I registered it, and it has a clear (marked salvage) title that is fully transferable and registrable in NY and elsewhere. As I mentioned before, my feedback speaks for itself. I tell it like it is. When it comes down to it, I will tell you everything and anything I know about the car, and then it is up to you if you are interested in it. I will say that this V car has been my baby for over a year, and that I can tell you not only will you not find a better CTS-V, but you certainly wont find a LS-2 CTS-V in this condition and with the mileage that this one has for less than 18k. You really need to see this car to appreciate it! Please email or call if you would like to set up an appointment to see this great car!!! Please ask any questions you have BEFORE bidding. You can set up an appointment to see the car prior to bidding by clicking the "ask seller a question" link (as with any used car, I would highly recommend seeing the car prior to bidding!). A deposit of $500 by PayPal is due within 24 hours of auction end. Thank you for looking!
