The car was sold new and placed into service on February 27, 1967. According to Some of the other paperwork the engine was rebuilt at 131,000 miles. The car currently has just over 133,000 miles. On Jan-12-13 at 07:04:02 PST, seller added the following information: This car was sold new to Fred Glastien on 2-2-1967 who lived in Maryland and owned the car until 2-8-1979. He maintained this car meticulously and have receipts and service log to document said service throught the 111,000 miles he owned it.The original owner then sold the car to Lewis North who lived in Virginia. Lewis apprently moved to Mooresville, North Carolina at some point and that is where he eventually sold the car to Jim Arundel (who also lived in Mooresville) on 11-7-1985. LB provided Jim a detailed letter about his "GTO Showcar" (this was actually in the subject line of the letter) covering engine, transmission, differential, and general items at the time of purchase. Jim owned the car in Mooresville at least thru 1994.. The next documented ownership is to Jeffery Smith who is documented owning the car in 2000.
