Very rare Opel GT 1900(1.9l)Grand Touring 1.9 liter upgradeThis was a General Motors built vehicle known as the "Baby Corvette"Body was a French design and they were typically sold at Buick dealerships.The style is a cross between a corvette and a ferrari.The Opel GT is the car that motivated Datson/Nissan to introduce the 240Z and launch a timeless campaign of Z-Cars.Monza style exhaust sounds awesome!Rear louver option installed(louvers currently sell for $700).Original jack, spare tire and tool kit still in car.This was a true "shed" find.Restored in the early 80's.Car has been parked for several years so I would recomend oil, change, fuel filter etc...Showing 39k miles on the odometer.Interior is in excellent condition with a minor crack on dash.Dash pad was installed at some point and shows very well.I stumbled across this car and photos shown reflect the condition found.Luckily there was no fuel in the car at the time it was parked so I was able to install a battery, spray the carb down with cleaner, add some premium fuel and she fired right up.It does appear to need brake pads. Body is extremely straight and no noticeable dents or dings.All chrome is intact with the exception of a rear tail light ring.Rubber seals and gaskets are in excellent shape with no dry rot.Glass is all intact with no damage or pitting.All floor pans appear solid and rust free.Have noticed some bubbling here and there and minor issues at drivers side rear quarter/rocker and just beneath passenger door.Paint is very presentable as a daily driver, scratch on passenger front fender, with a paint job and some tlc, this could easily be ready for the show. Paint is flaking a little on interior surfaces(door jams, under hood) Flip-over headlights are fully functonal and crazy cool!!
