I purchased the Scout from the original owner in 2012. He had always parked the Scout in the garage when it was not being driven! The body is rot free and has all of its original panels. The paint was getting tired so the previous owner had it repainted 10 years ago with a base coat clear coat. The truck does have a few chips here and there but very few the paint looks great. He stayed with the original colors of the Scout including the stripes. According to the line ticket the Scout came with black bumpers. The interior is in great shape and has the original rubber floor mats that are in pristine condition. The dash is crack free and the seats and door panels are in great shape. The door and window seals are soft and pliable and the top has never been off! The Scout drives like a dream. It turned 100,000 miles when I drove it away from its original owner. The Scout had been lovinly maintained over the years. The 345 cid motor is stout and the four speed trans shifts smooth. The Scout rides smooth and does not have the all the rattles of a normal scout. The suspension is tight and the power steering works well. The power disc breaks stop great. The wild country LT235/75/15,s tires are in like new condition. All of the tail lights, brake lights and electrical system work as they sould. I do think one of the lights is out on the dash but everything else works. I have the original owners manuals and line setting ticket which will go to the new owner. If you are a Scout lover you know how rare it is to see one in this condition! Please pay close attention to the 100 photos they will show you how nice this Scout is! 1979 Scout II

This is the nicest original Scouts I have ever owned! I purchased the Scout from the original owner in 2012. He had always parked the Scout in the garage when it was not being driven!

The body is rot free and has all of its original panels. The paint was getting tired so the previous owner had it repainted 10 years ago with a base coat clear coat. The truck does have a few chips here and there but very few the paint looks great. He stayed with the original colors of the Scout including the stripes. According to the line ticket the Scout came with black bumpers.

The interior is in great shape and has the original rubber floor mats that are in pristine condition. The dash is crack free and the seats and door panels are in great shape. The door and window seals are soft and pliable and the top has never been off!

The Scout drives like a dream. It turned 100,000 miles when I drove it away from its original owner. The Scout had been lovinly maintained over the years. The 345 cid motor is stout and the four speed trans shifts smooth. The Scout rides smooth and does not have the all the rattles of a normal scout. The suspension is tight and the power steering works well. The power disc breaks stop great. The wild country LT235/75/15,s tires are in like new condition.

All of the tail lights, brake lights and electrical system work as they sould. I do think one of the lights is out on the dash but everything else works.

I have the original owners manuals and line setting ticket which will go to the new owner.
