1977 Honda GoldWing GL 1000 Feel free to make me an offer! Only 16,000 Miles on this 35 year old, historic motorcycle! This bike is solid and still looks great! I bought this bike as a project bike, but got myself mixed up with another bike and stuck holding two bikes to rebuild! I'm selling this bike because I chose to work on the other bike. This bike doesn't need too much work done to it. When I bought it last month, it would not start. I replaced the after-market, electronic fuel pump with the OEM manual fuel pump, and she fires right up! Of course, being this bike has some age to her, she needs to warm up before hitting the road! I have not adjusted the brakes at all, so it is a little tight and hard to push or pull the bike right now. With a little tweaking of the brakes, this will be eliminated. The only thing that needs to be done to this bike in order to make it safe and street legal, is for a new wiring job on the parking/turn lights. This is an excellent project for anyone that has experience riding. It is a bit heavier and much bigger of a bike for new riders. This bike has a four cylinder engine (two cylinders per side, left and right side). I also have a 'mechanics' book and helmet that comes with the bike. The helmet matches the color of the bike too! Brand new performance battery! Does not require you to check its levels or refill with acid or water, factory activated battery, only about a month old. The carbs were rebuilt by the previous owner but will need to be synced.
