This is a 1971 Chevrolet C10 pickup we are selling. It is a great start to a project truck as you can drive it while you restore it. It will need what all of these trucks need as far as body work goes but is by no means as rough as a lot of them we find. It has a smooth running 250 six cylinder engine that has been upgraded to electronic ignition. We put new plugs in it and the aftermarket air cleaner and have driven it all over the neighborhood. It is like all these old Chevy trucks, a little cold natured but warms up and idles very smooth. One of the previous owners put a chrome valve cover on it. The truck has power steering and power brakes. It is an air conditioned truck but none of the components are present except the dash control panel. It is a 3 speed manual transmission with the shifter moved to the floor and is a blast to drive. Transmission shifts good, especially for one that has been swapped from the column to floor shifted. Has a fuel cell in the bed, we all know how the gas tanks on these trucks get. The truck does have drum brakes all around and 6 lug wheels. Chrome wagon spoke wheels with nice shine,, NEEDS TIRES BADLY...... I repeat, this thing needs tires... All the glass is good, windshield appears to have been replaced not too long ago and has a slider rear window. The body does need help. It has typical rust on the rockers and cab corners, rust above/behind rear wheels,, but this isn't a $5,000.00 truck either. It is a drive while you work on, have a low budget, cool old hot rod. We are pricing it accordingly and it is priced to sell. To sum it up,,,, this is a truck you can get in at a price you can afford to do what you want to with it. It is not a show quality restoration. It does not have power windows, air bags or navigation built in. I would not drive it across country (with the tires on it I am nervous puttering around here in my neighborhood). It has flaws, is missing parts and will need work... BUT, it is a really cool truck and a short wide bed that everyone is wanting these days.
