Vehicle Detail
0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Car is being reposted because ebay notified me that there where unauthorized bidders who ran the price of the car up yesterday and wanted to look into it. A SCAM of some sort. So I am reposting car with restrictions so this doesn’t happen again. VERY RARE PROJECT 1969 camaro X11 Cowl tag and vin prove car is a real v8 x11 CAR Car was Butternut yellow Black standard bucket seat interior Car With very few options COWL TAG INFO ST 69 12437 NOR 241990 BODY TR 711 40 40 PNT G1C X11 I am nit picking the car to provide as accurate of a description as I can. I am not a professional car restorer nor do I sell old cars for a living. Assume pics make car look better than what it is and you wont be disappointed when you pickup car. -X11 SS 350 CAR very hard to find and are getting harder to locate -Car doesn’t need much work to get it ready for paint. -Shock towers, rear frame rails, around back window all seem to be in good shape (Always problem areas on Camaro’s) -CAR HAS NEW REAR QUARTERS ROUGHED IN AND READY FOR FINAL WELDING AND DOOR JAM ALIGNMENT TRUNK IS SOLID AND ALL FINISHED AND SPRAYED BACK TO FACTORY LOOK. -Under the hood to include front sub frame is NICE (I don’t think sub frame is original to car according to previous owner) -All glass is there and is in good shape. -Period correct SS wheels -Original ss hood and all SS 350 emblems. -Bumpers and lights are all there. -Original 4 speed CAR with pedals are included with car -All original wiring harness in good shape. -Has clear Iowa title. -NO RESREVE AUCTION SO WINNING BID OWNS CAR. THE BAD -Motor and Transmission are long gone. -Interior is all there but rough needs restored. -Missing exterior chrome trim and driveshaft. -10 bolt rear end not sure if it is original or not to car. -The Car has a few door dings here and there that you can’t see very good in pictures because of primer. -No brake booster or master cylinder. -Seats need recovered. -Missing dash pad and a other parts with car -Rockers appear to have bondo to fill holes from rocker trim (See Pics) -Rear fender wells show some signs of rust starting closet to doors (See Pics) -Roof area has a hole about 3 inches long that will need patched (See pics) -Rear floor support has rust where it meets rear valance (I would replace it) Nothing is lined up as far as gaps, doors, hood, front clip it is bolted on for transportation purposes Please dont waste my time unless this is something you can afford and want to restore. Ask me any questions you need to I will do my best to answer them. I pride myself in trying to give accurate description of things. I have perfect feedback. 500 dollar deposit within 24 hours and CASH for balance at pickup. thanks for looking 847 six one three 9803 k I also have front original butternut yellow fenders from car when they where swapped due to-damaged area and rust which have the original factory ss 350 stripe which I dont think was optional unless you ordered a ss car Front subframe is from another car that the 2nd owner spent alot of time on instead of using the original rusted one. he did also give me the original disc brakes from old sub frame which from every question I receive proves its an SS car. but not being on car is that proof enough? You need to decide for yourself I dont have the build sheet and I am not the original owner of the car. This is only my 2 cents below Regardless the car is a great project for someone wanting a 1969 camaro to make it whatever they want it to be. A BUILD SHEET IS THE ONLY REAL WAY TO BE SURE ... Almost 40 years down the road now , SO MANY CHANGES AND SWAPS over the years have made it hard to be sure. theres more Z28s , SS and rallys out there then there ever was ! X-11 CAN BE ONE OF 2 CARS : A SS-350 , Yes , it should be a 350-300HP eng. Auto or 4 speed . it could possibly have a 10 bolt or 12 Multi leaf springs or single leaf springs DISC BRAKES ONLY - not sure but sounds right for 67 or 68 and possibly 69 I would assume in some rare cases dual exhaust. I THINK THAT THE SS CARS HAD A 3/8 fuel line as well but not 100% on that. Other BASE MODELS had a 5/16 fuel line. OR A ( BASE CAMARO ) WITH Z21 - STYLE TRIM GROUP. this trim includes , Chrome trim around the headlight bexels and the rear tail light bezels , Chrome drip rail moldings , louvered side moldings , rocker moldings, and wheel well moldings . On Dec-30-12 at 10:22:51 PST, seller added the following information:I welcome anyone wanting to come see the car. People with zero feedback I will have your bids cancelled unless you contact me first to avoid what happened yesterday. On Jan-04-13 at 17:35:46 PST, seller added the following information: I had to cancel bidder chasera1fbg's bids. This user had zero feedback and did not contact me before bidding.IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS.THIS IS A PRECAUTION BECAUSE OF THE SCAM THAT TOOK PLACE BEFORE WHEN ITEM WAS POSTED. I am doing this so high bidder does not get lose out on this no reserve auction to a scammer that runs up the bids and never pays. Thanks and good luck This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION HIGH BID TAKES ALL!!!!
