A 1956 Sedan de ville project or parts car. This is a very solid original car that has no rust. It has been involved in a right front accident and the frame has been bent too badly for me to fix. All prior owners of the car are documented with most of the ownership being in Iowa and Georgia. It is loaded with options and I was hopeful to be able to fix it, but it is too much for me. It is running , the brakes work, and it car be driven in the yard but is not roadworthy. It is very original with just over 80,000 miles. The interior and headliner is great. It is a kind of unique green with a light pink flek in it to go with the Mountain laurel exterior. Some would call it Coral. I do not call it pink. It has factory A/C, dual four barrel carbs with the correct original air cleaner, 5 gold biarritz wheels one of which is damaged on the inside from the accident, power windows that work, automatic headlights, tissue dispenser, an original working radio, Cadillac vanity mirror, etc, etc. The engine and transmission is original and have never been out of the car, it runs great , starts easily, and Yes, they do drip a bit. This car has been used regularly but as a second or third car since it was new. All doors open and close some with difficulty. stainless trim is excellent, The chrome is good but not perfect. The rear bumper has a dimple in it. The left side of the car has been scraped nearly the entire length, both doors open and close. This would make a great donor car for someone restoring a convertible or Eldorado and is missing some parts. All of the carburetor linkage is here and working well.. If this car does not make a reasonable reserve, I may part it out at some later date. In the meantime, if you do win the bid i will deliver it free between Atlanta and the mecum auction in Kissimmee Florida in January. call Bob at 404 731 4580 with any questions. It is available for inspection in Marietta Ga anytime. PS, I do have most of the needed front end parts and sheet metal... hood, fenders, etc that would be needed to fix this car. New re chromed bumpers, etc that can be purchased separately or in a later separate parts auction. PPS..... In response to some calls and questions:... The dash and steering wheel are perfect. No cracks. the jack is in he trunk. The A/C condenser is just fine. The radiator is there, but squished a bit. Might be able to be fixed, but a good core at least. Power antenna, and windshield washer bottle are fine. Rear bumper ends are near perfect but the snorkels are not connected. E bay will not let me add more pictures.
