1971 BMW R60/5 in all factory original black paint with the factory white hand-applied pinstriping and only 16,277 actual miles. All factory original, never damaged, never down, with maintenance records, the factory tool kit, factory air pump, and in extremely nice condition. Starts right up at a press of the electric start button and settles into a quiet smooth idle. Accelerates smoothly and runs perfectly. The transmission shifts properly, everything works correctly (instruments, lights, horn, turn signals, etc), and turnpike cruising speeds are relaxed. These are the first of the electric start BMWs and the 600s are the smoothest of the boxer twins. These are also geared much better for highway use than the earlier /2 models and are much more user friendly with their modern switchgear and pushbutton starters. Removable factory saddle bags in excellent condition, shaft drive for low maintenance, and a supple suspension & comfortable seat make for a very pleasant motorcycle. Always garaged, never damaged, fanatically maintained, and a weatherproof fitted BMW bike cover is included.
