2005 Dodge 3500 Laramie Sport - Quad Cab 4X4 Dually - Nice Custom Features History and Condition This truck must be sold at auction - No Direct Offers will be Accepted! Humboldt County does not conduct "2nd Chance" auctions and you should notify eBay if you get a suspicious offer... This 1 ton diesel pickup truck was seized by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office and has been stored as evidence for legal proceedings which are completed. There are some maintenance invoices in the glove box. There are no other maintenance records available. This truck appears to be in good running condition. Noted Defects: The title is a "Salvage" title, but for unknown reasons. There are two 12V batteries - both need to be replaced. No running board on driver side. Cracked rear fender on the driver side. Passenger side rearview mirror is shattered. The tires are all running a bit thin and should be replaced as necessary. The front license plate is missing. The plates expired in 2009. The truck was held in "limbo" by a search warrant, but the State of California may still require substantial fees or penalties for back years. Any fees or penalties are the responsibility of the buyer. The county will provide documentation of the court order and circumstances. Alpine Power Amp and custom rear speakers under the rear seat. 2" receiver hitch and both a 7-prong and 4-prong trailer wiring connectors. There is a 19 gallon fuel tank strapped down in the bed. Not connected to truck in any way other than the web tie-down strap. By using a jump battery, this pickup was started and driven around the storage yard. No strange noises or leaks were noted and the brakes seemed to work well. No other inspections have been done. Sales Conditions The winning bidder has 5 business days to pay $1000 as a deposit, with balance due in 10 more business days. That's 15 total business days for complete payment. All payments must be certified checks or money orders, or you can bring US dollars when you pick up the truck. All payments are made out to "Humboldt County Sheriff's Office". Sorry, no PayPal. Payments can be processed Monday through Friday by the county offices, but you or your shipper can only get access to the truck on Mondays and Tuesdays. Christmas and New Years both fall on Tuesdays this year, so for the next couple of weeks, the property is only available on Mondays. Storage and Shipping This truck is presently being stored at a county facility in Eureka, California (North Coast about 100 miles south of Oregon). The winning bidder must make all arrangements to pick up this truck. No shipping arrangements will be planned or undertaken by county employees although the county does have equipment to load this truck onto a trailer for your shipper. The storage yard is only open on Mondays and Tuesdays and you or your shipper will need to contact the county before going to the facility. The winner must remove the truck from Humboldt County property within 1 month after final payment or storage fees will be assessed. All contact/payment information will be provided to the winning bidder at end of auction.
