Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this original California survivor 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 4WD truck. This truck was built new at the Fremont, CA plant then delivered to Bob Frink Chevrolet in Sacramento, CA where it was delivered to it's new owner. It has spent it's entire life in the dry California Central Valley and is 100% rust free. Most of the paint is original with some minimal blends being done over the years. Paint shines very well and the truck is very presentable and has been well cared for it's entire life. The original interior is in amazing condition for it's age and only shows minimal wear as shown in pictures. This truck wasn't rode hard like most trucks and the bed and interior show that fact. Some of the factory options include: tinted glass, sliding rear window, Cheyenne Super package, right side mirror, two tone paint, heavy duty front and rear shocks and springs, no-spin rear axle, aux fuel tank, power steering, aux battery, push button radio, amp/oil gauge, and more. This truck has most, if not all of the original paperwork it was delivered with which include: owners manuals, protection policy, original protecto-plate, rare factory build sheet (which is still behind the front seat), original owners record book, and even an original business card from the service writer at Bob Frink Chevrolet. Mechanically this truck is in very good condition with everything working as it should: exterior lights, turn signals, wipers, interior lights, gauges, horn, heater, etc. all working. The original radio lights up but there is no sound. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smooth, and the brakes work as they should. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in this truck and drive it across the country. This truck is currently registered in California with a clear California title in hand. Overall this is a very rare find and a very desirable truck and you would be hard pressed to find another like it. I would consider it to be one of, if not the best original '72 Cheyenne Super 4wd I have seen and in the best color combo available in my opinion. If you would like to make arrangements to view this truck in person or have any questions please email with your phone number and I can give you a call.
