This FERRARI LOOKS AND RUNS GREAT!! Its LEGENDARY MID MOUNTED 3.0 LITER V8 power plant, has been meticulously maintained with excellent upgrades, and proper servicing over the years...(please see pics of a binder that is full of receipts)!! It's very durable and reliable, and runs VERY STRONG with all the power you'll need to pass on any highway and cruise along in your own personal CLASSIC ITALIAN PARANCING HORSE, WITH AN EXHAUST NOTE THAT IS LEGENDARY!! ******ATTENTION****** The car received it's full 30K service that began in October of 2009 at just over 15K, and was completed by June of 2010. The engine was completely removed, and the following service was done. The timing belts, tensioner pulleys (Hill Engineering pulleys were specified). Complete valve adjustment with all shims replaced. New plugs, wires, injectors, and complete air fuel mixture ratios calibrated. Engine oil and filter were replaced, along with the fuel filter. Transmission service. New cam seals and distributor seals. New oil seals and washers installed on engine and transmission sumps. Altenator and A/C belts were replaced. Pressure tested the CIS F.I. System and tested the cold start injector, warm up regulator, bypass valve, etc.. Tested all electrical functions and replaced any fuses as necessary. Restored headlight lifts, all hood solenoids, gas flap solenoid, and lights. New trunk lift struts installed, etc....etc...etc... The reason it took so long, is that it also underwent some engine bay cosmetic upgrades. The valve covers, cam covers, timing belt covers, and air plenum were professionally powder coated Ferrari engine red, and makes the already spotless engine bay really stand out beautifully. All the electricals as well have been upgraded to later model 328 specs, which is a great plus. The interior has all of it's original leather and panels, and shows a wonderful patina. The leather was professionally cleand and conditioned, and the front and rear seats professionally re-dyed to their original black in April of 2010. As you can see in the pics, the drivers seat does have one leather panel, that needs to be addressed as you can see in the pics. The exterior vivid black, has a beautiful mirror like shine as you can see in the pics, and is also very original with only minor paintwork over the years due to some scratches. The car is VERY MECHANICALLY SOUND and VERY CLEAN and WITH THE COMBINATION OF HER GORGEOUS SILHOUTTE .... As is customary on Ferrari motorcars, they all have a unique look of their own and only appropriate signs of any road/storage/use wear can barely be noticed, and I'd have to say, although not perfect, certainly negligible for its almost 31 year vintage.....I only wish I can hold up as well...lol!! As always, we try to fault our vehicles for full disclosure, and I'm proud to say, that she's a real nice one folks with only some minor cosmetic areas that we mentioned, and can critique. She looks great overall, and drives solid and very strong. The items that are not functiong properly is the sunroof, antenna, and power door locks. The a/c coes work, but there's a line that has a leak. We were also told, that one of the cam seals does have a leak, and is an easy fix. The only thing that we would recommend, as we do on any vintage motorcar, is to give it a good going through, but please don't get me wrong.....you can drive this Ferrari right away. She fires right up, with an excellent idle, and runs like a scalded dog!! To our knowledge, there really are no rust concerns or serious mechanical concerns of anykind!! This FERRARI LOOKS AND RUNS GREAT!! Its LEGENDARY MID MOUNTED 3.0 LITER V8 power plant, has been meticulously maintained with excellent upgrades, and proper servicing over the years...(please see pics of a binder that is full of receipts)!! It's very durable and reliable, and runs VERY STRONG with all the power you'll need to pass on any highway and cruise along in your own personal CLASSIC ITALIAN PARANCING HORSE, WITH AN EXHAUST NOTE THAT IS LEGENDARY!!
******ATTENTION****** The car received it's full 30K service that began in October of 2009 at just over 15K, and was completed by June of 2010. The engine was completely removed, and the following service was done. The timing belts, tensioner pulleys (Hill Engineering pulleys were specified). Complete valve adjustment with all shims replaced. New plugs, wires, injectors, and complete air fuel mixture ratios calibrated. Engine oil and filter were replaced, along with the fuel filter. Transmission service. New cam seals and distributor seals. New oil seals and washers installed on engine and transmission sumps. Altenator and A/C belts were replaced. Pressure tested the CIS F.I. System and tested the cold start injector, warm up regulator, bypass valve, etc.. Tested all electrical functions and replaced any fuses as necessary. Restored headlight lifts, all hood solenoids, gas flap solenoid, and lights. New trunk lift struts installed, etc....etc...etc... The reason it took so long, is that it also underwent some engine bay cosmetic upgrades. The valve covers, cam covers, timing belt covers, and air plenum were professionally powder coated Ferrari engine red, and makes the already spotless engine bay really stand out beautifully. All the electricals as well have been upgraded to later model 328 specs, which is a great plus.
The interior has all of it's original leather and panels, and shows a wonderful patina. The leather was professionally cleand and conditioned, and the front and rear seats professionally re-dyed to their original black in April of 2010. As you can see in the pics, the drivers seat does have one leather panel, that needs to be addressed as you can see in the pics. The exterior vivid black, has a beautiful mirror like shine as you can see in the pics, and is also very original with only minor paintwork over the years due to some scratches. The car is VERY MECHANICALLY SOUND and VERY CLEAN and WITH THE COMBINATION OF HER GORGEOUS SILHOUTTE .... Vehicle runs beautifully, with no known flaws to prevent full and complete drivability to any destination. Inspections are always encouraged and highly welcomed, but prior to auctions end, not after!! As is customary on Ferrari motorcars, they all have a unique look of their own and only appropriate signs of any road/storage/use wear can barely be noticed, and I'd have to say, although not perfect, certainly negligible for its almost 31 year vintage.....I only wish I can hold up as well...lol!! As always, we try to fault our vehicles for full disclosure, and I'm proud to say, that she's a real nice one folks with only some minor cosmetic areas that we mentioned, and can critique. She looks great overall, and drives solid and very strong. The items that are not functiong properly is the sunroof, antenna, and power door locks. The a/c coes work, but there's a line that has a leak. We were also told, that one of the cam seals does have a leak, and is an easy fix. The only thing that we would recommend, as we do on any vintage motorcar, is to give it a good going through, but please don't get me wrong.....you can drive this Ferrari right away. She fires right up, with an excellent idle, and runs like a scalded dog!! To our knowledge, there really are no rust concerns or serious mechanical concerns of anykind!! That's really about it folks, just a super great buy on an authentic very low mileage, and beautifully upgraded FERRARI MONDIAL 8 !!
