Vehicle Detail
Hi Everyone, Today is a sad day for me, but could be a great day for you. I have a pretty nice collection of beautifully restored classic automobiles, but I have run out of room. I have the opportunity to pick up my mentors 1972 Chevy Short Bed Pick Up truck, and because of the memory's surrounding this vehicle and our relationship, I need to sell something to make room. I have chosen this piece because it is nearly one of a kind, and should appeal to many. I am selling a 1988 original mile (50K) pristine and fully restored SS Monty Carlo. The interior is like new and the back seats look like no one has ever sat is this vehicle. It was a frame off Grand National Conversion. That's right, it has a complete, rebuilt 3.8 L Turbo Charged drive line, including the rear (which as been powder coated for shows). The motor has less than 1000 miles on the rebuild and it runs strong. The builder is a pretty famous GN enthusiast and he upgraded to the bigger injectors, and has a bit modified cam profile, and runs about 16 pounds of boost. Let me tell you, you can drive with the air on from Philadelphia to Florida but if you need it to go, it will sink you in the seat and surprise the heck of out everyone concerned. As far as the swap goes, GM could not have done it better, it is one of the cleanest conversions I have ever seen and I have been at this for quiet some time. It looks like it was done by the factory. It even has the GN Boost (functioning I might add), on the drivers pillar which looks great at night when back lit by the internal bulb. As stated the body was taken off the frame during the restoration, and finished in a very high glossy base coat, clear coat finish with all new and appropriate SS decals. The panels are show straight and gets many compliments at the shows. The exhaust, shocks, brakes, etc are all new or in very good condition. I get as many compliments from the underneath as I do from the exterior so the walk arounds' never get old. This vehicle has a fresh inspection, and the tires are about 85% and fitted atop of polished Iroc aluminum wheels with the Grand National Center Caps which look great and give a slight hint at what lurks beneath. I have a friend that has a 100 K twin turbo Porsche and we went out in this the other day and he was blown away. As you can tell, I have thousands invested, and you won't be disappoined. I do reserve the right to end the sale early as I have this listed locally and have a pretty big network of car guys. I will list my number so please feel free to ask any question that will help you bid with confidence. My loss is your gain, Sean267-767-4780
