Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs excellent, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. We did not observe any obvious damage to the wheels/suspension and steering is straight. Windshield is cracked at the left bottom corner and both front bags are deployed. A complete set of airbags with modue/belts can easily be obtained from car-part website for as low as $500 or search here on ebay. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and the car lot runs/drives. As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Nissan 350Z has sustained left front damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs excellent, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. No signs of oil leak and engine runs great. We did not observe any obvious damage to the left front wheel/suspension and streering is pretty straight. Windshield is cracked and both front bags are deployed. A complete set of airbags with modue/belts can easily be obtained from car-part website for as low as $500 or search here on ebay. Again, the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and the car lot runs/drives. Many used parts can be found for this car at online junk yard database car-part OR here on ebay. car-part is a source of used oem parts from many junk yards across the country. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
