FOR SALE BY OWNER 1976 Datsun 710 Not only is this a rare car, it is a turn key daily driver! I purschase the 710 less then a year ago for my high school graduate whom then went out of state for school and the 710 didn't go along. The person I purchased it off of had the motor rebuilt but had no receipts to show for it. However, the motor runs very straong and smooth!! New parts this year:NEW Wires, Plugs, Rotor & CapNEW Ignition CoilNEW BatteryNEW Battery CablesNEW Alternator w/built in Regulator (bypassed external regulator. Runs much better)NEW Ignition switchNEW Tires - all four of themNEW Brake cylindersNEW Front Brakes (rear is good)NEW Muffler ExteriorBody is in really good shapeNo evidence of any major collisionsThere were a couple of rust spots on the bottom of the drivers side door and rear panel which I fixed and spot painted.I just lost a hub cap so it needs another one.The drivers side mirror is not a Datsun original and was attached in holes other then where the original holes were.The trunk has a repaired spot the size of a dollar coin that has a cracked through but doesn't look that bad.No cracks in any glass Interior IssuesThe top of the dashboard has some cracks in it and is covered by a cloth dashboard cover.The carpet looks original to me and is in pretty fair/good condition.The only rip in the black vinal upulstary is on the drivers side seat. It's a section that is repairable.The plastic piece behind the door handle nees repaired or replaced. It's now in the glove box.The tripometer does not workThe radio does not turn on and I haven't tried to figure it out.The clock lights up but does not work.The headliner is very good.The door panels are very good but they could use some more clips to snug them to the door. MechanicalTHIS CAR RUNS GREAT!!!The motor runs very well.The transmission shift very good through all three gears.The rearend is quite.The fan shroud is missing.The wipers work just fine but the washer is not working.I just drove this care 1600 miles and it not burn any oil, nor did or need any other fluids. ElectricalAll electrical is working with the exception of a couple of things: 1) Radio 2) Clock 3) Brake light This car is sold AS-IS, Where-Is in Central Point Oregon. The buyer needs to pick it up or have it transported at the buyers expense. NO WARRENTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED
