This is a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3800 that is an original Napco 4x4 Conversion. As far as the truck itself goes. The engine is a 235 6 Cylinder that runs good. Transmission is a four speed with a granny low. The four wheel drive is the original Napco setup. Front axle has Napco 37-18 S Stamped in it. The transfer case is a Spicer, and still has the model plate on it. Truck runs and drives and four wheel drive system functions properly. Needs some work to be road ready. Brake pedal squishy/ some lights not functioning/ and the rear tires are dryrotted. The front two tires have been replaced. As far as history goes I have the original New Jersey title. The truck was titled in 1958 as a "4Whl Dr Cab Wrkr" which translates to 4x4 Wrecker. When the truck was found in Virginia the wrecker body was gone and was simply a cab and chassies. The previous owner then took a 8 foot pickup body and added in a section to make it clear the wheelbase which makes it approximatly a 10 foot bed. I have all of the paperwork of contacts of the previous owners as he had to track them down in order to get a title. When it was found all that was in the glove box was the New Jersey 1958 title. To clarify though I do have a clean and lien free Virginia title in my name. Truck is for sale locally and the seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. As far as the body on the truck goes I have tryed to not hide any details in the pictues.
