The 650cc engine starts at the touch of the key & comes to a perfect idle, with no smoke from the tail pipe or oil leaks, an indication that it was well cared for. The transmission shifts on point with no slips, or shuddering through all the gears. I was very surprised how comfortable & responsive this bike was to ride for a 650cc. It handles nicely around turns, and it is not at all a bumpy ride. You'll enjoy the benefits of a big cruser without all the expense. This Nighthawk is not a show bike or flawless, but it is far cleaner then others of it's vintage.The paint shines nicely with only very miner imperfections on the tank .
