Vehicle Detail
Well I'm sure no expert on corvettes, but a friend of mine has owned this car for many years, and it was his pride and joy. A couple of years ago he suffered a serous stroke, which almost took his life, and did great damage to his memory and motor skills. His care taker had an appraisal done on the car and I have included pictures of it as well as various pictures showing the cars overall present condition. (appraised @ $41,500.00). The appraisal also has lots of factual information such as part numbers, date-codes etc. First I will list some of its minuses as I see them... This car has sat idle in a garage for the last 2 years or so. It has a few blemishes on the paint and the car could use some serious cleaning and detailing. We could not locate the keys so I have no keys for it. The brakes are down on it from sitting idle so long. I have been told that this car runs and drives excellent, but I have not touched it or started it. I can not verify if the 47,000 miles are original because of the previous owners current health condition. (He literally remembers nothing). If I do not sell it as is , I will have my mechanic get a key made for it, service the brakes, get it tuned-up, and running again. Then I will re list the car accordingly. Although not perfect, this car has won several "first place" trophy's at Denver area car shows over the past several years. This car is truly beautiful to look at and it's pride of ownership really shows. The body is "show-car-straight". Although the paint is not original, it retains it's original "goodwood green" color. The car is not highly optionad like some, but it has the 300 H.P. 327 V-8 with a 4 speed manual transmission, tinted windows, AM/FM radio, and a 336 posi-trac rear end. I do have the factory shop manual as well as the owners manual. I have done my best to honestly and accurately describe this car in good faith. I believe it is a true, numbers matching , 1967 corvette in very good condition. The appraisal price is $41,500.00, and the car is just how it was appraised in March of 2011. My opening bid is $39,500.00 with no reserve. I honestly can't imagine finding a nicer or more original and more un-molested (sting ray) like this for the price. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I found it. I have a clear Colorado title for this vehicle. Remember this car is 45 years old and being sold as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way. I have 100% positive feedback, and take pride in being honest. Now...all that that having been said, I think whom ever ends up with this car will be elated. But those are just my thoughts. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well.
