Vehicle Detail
Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 1984 Mercedes 280SE! The car has the following options: 53,530 Actual Miles!!! Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes Panasonic AM/FM/CD Stereo Air Conditioning Cruise Control Power Front Windows/Locks/Mirrors Custom Cloth Interior Power Sunroof Factory-installed towing hitch w/lights Factory Floor mats This car is a German-built personal import car. There are very few of this model in the USA. Basically, it was built for the European market, then was bought there and brought to the USA. We took as many pictures as possible so you can see what great condition it’s in. Some were taken in the sun so you can see how good the paint looks and some were taken in the shade so there would be no shadows. We posted the best here and the rest can be seen here: http://photobucket.com/84Mercedes280SE The color of the car is a very popular color for this model because it shows so well. The car has very low mileage and the condition of the car, inside and out, reflects this. We bought this car from a mechanic who got the car in top-notch running condition before he sold it to us. We believe everything on the car is in working condition. The six-cylinder engine will save you money on gas. The only things the mechanic didn’t replace, which will have to be addressed, are the rear struts. The car starts and runs well and drives easily, as it should. This is a very rare car to find in the United States, even more so, because of its beautiful, original condition. This could be a highlight to someone’s personal Mercedes collection because of there being so few in the US. You may never see another Mercedes of this model in this condition with these low miles again on Ebay. Today, you have the opportunity to purchase this rare find. This car also has a factory hitch that is shown in one of the pictures. It can be installed and removed very easily. When it’s off, you would never know the option was even there. The aluminum wheels are beautiful. The interior is in near-new condition. The body of the car is as nice as it can be for its age. We invite you to come down and see this beautiful car in person. Because this is an import, Ebay would not accept the VIN number in its system, so here it is: WDB1260221A091440 This is an as-is vehicle, which means that once you buy it, you own it with all faults (known or unknown). This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something. We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. We need the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer, after the auction is over. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30 Day Tag it’s $18.50. If we need to transfer your title (and not hand you your title) we will also have to collect the tax in your county if you live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina or Washington. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle. If you have any questions, call Stan at 216-598-7011. Good luck bidding!
