1934 Packard 1100 Straight 8 Sedan. The 1934 Packard is considered by most to be the Greatest Year of Packard Design and Styling. This Packard had a complete Body Off Restoration about 7 Years ago. Over $75,000 has been invested in the professional, quality restoration of this timeless classic. The Solid Body was stripped and Painted a Wimbledon White for a more Wedding Friendly effect. Factory type pin stripping was also replaced. The Paint is still brilliant even today. Next a Full Genuine Tan Leather Interior was added to give the Packard the full Luxury effect (even the door panels are leather). Then the Canvas roof was disassembled and a Tinted Skyline Glass insert was added. Riding and viewing the city lights through the see through roof is a special delight for the passengers. (No damage or alterations were done to the metal part of the roof and metal braces replace the wood inserts. If you desire the original canvas insert and headliner, you could easily have it replaced to original. In 2010 the Packard was sent to Carolina Rod Shop for a total mechanical restoration. The Engine was completely disassembled and rebuilt at a cost of over $15,000. The generator was rebuilt, water pump replaced, and radiator was rebuilt. Next the clutch assembly was replaced and the brakes were renewed ( Most receipts will be included). This Packard runs, drives, stops and rides very nice. The speedometer works but not the odometer. The Chrome is in excellent condition. The stainless is good. One front parking light has some dings. This Packard is equipped with Dual Side Mounts and 6, AS NEW, BF Goodrich Wide White Tires. Also note the rare Factory Packard Trunk on the luggage rack. The floor pans, frame, and running boards are solid. All lights work as well as all gauges (including the Gas gauge). This Packard is a beautiful, mechanically excellent, and drivable classic! The Packard could very easily be used again in Weddings, or as a Business Investment. The Packard as of 2011 was demanding $1,200- $1,500 per 4 hour wedding or celebrity engagement. I bought the Packard about 1 year ago, after the owner of the special events company decided to retire. It has been an absolute pleasure to own and drive. You will be proud to own, drive, and show this stunning automobile. As usual the Packard will be sold as is without warranty. If you are in the area, come by and inspect the Packard in person before auction end.
