Vehicle Detail

This little '85 Supra is still a project, but could be driven everyday just as I did up until the snow started to fly. Its an '85 P-Type Supra, Indestructible 2.8 5MGE Inline Six, linked to a 5 speed manual going to a limited slip rear diff with 4:11 gears. Sure, it has close to 200k miles but the engine pulls like a train and runs like a top. It has new NGK plugs and wires, cap and rotor and new cam cover gaskets. Fresh synthetic oil change 500 miles ago. Mechanically wise there are also a few new parts, new rear shocks, front cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads and new wheel bearings. Rear also has new Raybestos pads and rotors, along with a freshened up e-brake assembly. I also installed a new front wiper motor and modified the wiper arms to accept regular style blade clips, and it has new beam blade wipers. The exhaust is a custom job and is loud but sounds good. Has a Flowmaster 10 series in place of the converter, and exits out back to a knockoff Magnaflow muffler. Interior wise, its not bad. The seats have some rips, dashboard is cracked and there are some squeaks and rattles. It does have a new head unit with aux. port and USB charging port, along with an aftermarket antenna and rear Sony Xplod speakers. The car is from Iowa so the underside is in decent shape. There is a rot spot on the rear floor. All the lines are in great shape and all I had to patch was a little rust spot on the R/R control arm. Clean and Clear title in my name at hand ready to go.Hate to sell it but I received my Dads project and want to focus on that. Fresh NY inspection good until October 2013. The Bad:Body has some rot in lower 1/4s and rocker panels. It is also missing some trim, and the trim on it is barely hanging on. It looks to have been repainted once as well.It leaks some oil from the rear diff and engine, but I check both every week and top off as needed.Tires are old and have flat spots from sitting, but doesn't really affect how it drives other than a shake in the wheel. Sunroof is sealed with silicone, motor works but I never opened it.Rear wiper doesn't workDriver side 1/4 window was replaced with Lexan, as the old one got shattered. It has a R134 conversion but I would imagine it needs a new compressor. I never tried to use it.It could use an alignment. There are some clunks and rattles in the suspension.Headlights pop up but the lights themselves are on a toggle switch. The markers all turn on from the multifunction switch, just the headlights are on the toggle.I am being as Honest as possible. It is still a project but like I said its bulletproof reliable. Use it as a DD or fun project. On Dec-01-12 at 04:29:39 PST, seller added the following information: Wanted to add that it will need a new cold start injector, for days under 30 degrees it takes a few cranks to fire, as well as mileage is 189,900 not 190,900. Thanks.
