Vehicle Detail
I really really hate to sell this car. It is my most dependable running and driving great gas mileage car I own, I have allot more money in her than I am asking, but I need the money to finish my other projects and 6 cars is too many for one man to own. This car has never been crashed and has been meticulously maintained. I have well over $30,000 in documented receipts. I am setting the reserve at under half of what the car is really worth. This car is replaced updated and new. The engine was professionally rebuilt and has roughly 15,000 miles on it. Within the last year all electronics (including, alternator, battery, distributor, wires plugs sensors, ignition components, distributor, controls, injectors, etc.) Fuel system, fuel pump pressure regulators, filters, injectors etc.. have been replaced. The car has had all the suspension components including: bushings, links, u-joints, drive line, and a complete rear end replaced. It has a full custom exhaust post cats ( It sounds awesome much more tone, no crackle or popping just deep and mellow and not restricted/muffled like before it sounds like a corvette should). It just passed emissions here in Denver with flying colors. It has also been given a set of c5 rims and a set of brand new Nitto nt555 tires 17"x245 and 18"x275 (these are hands down the best tires I've ever run on any of my sports cars). There is way to much to list. This corvette has the getrick 6 speed manual (a bulletproof German 6 speed which BMW has used in their M5's and dynan cars and chevy installed in some of their corvettes. When the engine was completely rebuild cam and injectors and tune the motor on the lt1 it is pulling 350 horse/ 360ft lb (as opposed to the 300/330 stock). This car is a pleasure to drive and does great on gas I get between 25-35mpg on the highway. On its worst day it will get 18-20 in town. With the LT1 motor married with a 6-speed manual transmission this car is very fast It was rated at 162mph top speed, 13.2 sec in the 1/4 mile, and a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds. I can assure you it is much faster after the build and the updates. All of this combined makes a car that will run with a new sports car, but out corner it, get better gas mileage, and cost a 1/6th of their sticker price. The bad: the drivers side seat (typical of vettes) is worn on the bolster on one side (my upholstery shop quoted me $325 to completely recover both seats) The two parking brake cables that go from the wheel to the cab are worn (also very typical and cost about $45 a piece) There are a few scratches and rock chips in the paint which i tried to get good pictures of. There is also a picture of spider cracking on the hood ( the picture is an extreme closeup) The stereo is working but the speakers need replaced This car has been a dream and a pleasure to own and am confident it will continue to be for whoever purchases her. I have no doubt in my mind if you even flew in and had a 2000 mile trip home that is would not give you one problem. Feel free to call with any questions I am a car guy and can answer any question you may have. I have spent tons of money and time fixing the few things wrong with the car even after the folder of maintenance I received from the previous owner.
