For sale is a 1957 Oldsmobile 98 4-door sedan. The car has the following features: -371/312 Hp V8 engine -Air Conditioning -“Hydra-Matic” Transmission -74,870 original miles What makes this car unique and special is the fact that it was used as a limousine to transport then-Senator John F. Kennedy during a presidential election campaign stop in Hays, Kansas on November 20, 1959. It has been in my family since approximately 1960 and was a prized possession of my late father. We have a signed, notarized affidavit testifying that this car was used to transport JFK that day. We also have other documents including newspaper clippings and internet links related to JFK’s visit to Kansas, and the original owners manual. This car is easily restorable and a collector’s dream. The engine and chassis are in good condition. The vehicle is solid and in running condition. We just installed a new battery and the car starts easily, engine sounds great. Transmission shifts into gear with no hesitation. Brakes are fine. Exhaust system in good shape. It needs a paint job and some interior work. Headliner in good shape. It is garage-stored and available for inspection by appointment in Hays, Kansas.
