1984 MERCEDES 300 TURBO DIESEL WAGON Converted to run a two tank frybrid system, the best on the market. Car starts on 15 gallon diesel tank and automatically switches to run on the 36 gallon vegetable oil tank when the oil and coolant reach the proper temperature. Upon reaching the destination, push the purge button to start a 25 second purge that cleans the fuel lines by drawing from the diesel tank and returning to the oil tank. Car gets about 25 mpg on diesel alone and mileage on the vegetable oil is about the same. Because the car only uses diesel to start and purge, the farther you drive the better mileage you get! With my 10 mile trips to work I get about 75 miles to the diesel gallon, but you could drive across the country on a gallon of diesel. Car comes with my oil purification setup. Its a 120v hot water heater, 120v oil pump, strainer barrel, and pressure filter. Works very well, can purify 50 gallons at a time. I will also include my mobile filter setup, doesnt work quite as well, but got me to Missouri and back. It needs a glowplug or two as it has become a little hard starting as it turned cold, I may have time to replace I have recently finished my time in the navy, and need to sell this quickly before I move back home.
