Vehicle Detail
1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Only 87,000 miles! Same owner last 23 years With only 87,000 miles and thousands spent in mechanical and cosmetic restoration this is one of the best exambles and values in a MKIV Lincoln Contentional currently avaiable. My father has loved and cared for this car for over 23 years. It's been kept in a heated storage building or grrage for the entire time. My father will soon loose the heated storage and is forced to part with "His Baby" It's priced at what we believe is a reasonable figure but we will be open to offers and partartial trades on a car, boat, motorcycle or whatever of lesser value. The car has been baised in Western Oregon, one of the best climates in the world for preserving vintage cars. The roads are not salted, the area is shelted from the costal air from a 30mile mountain range, we get less rain then much of Northern Califorina and little intense sunshine. Mechinical Condition: This year my father had the carburator, tires and master cliender and exhaust replaced, and over the years has spend thousands keeping it in a reliable 'drive anytime' condition. As far as know everything works, including the factory air conditioning. My father drives it many times a year and it's been reliable and trouble-free. Costimetic Condition: This is a very original vehicle. A few years ago I had one of the best custom and vintage paint shops in area repaint it for my Dad's birthday. It was pained in top quality Diamont Basecoat Clearcoat, 4-coat clear to the factory original metallic. There was no body rust or damage before the paint. Cost today would be well over $7,000 for the same level of paint quality. Chrome is original and very straight, with no rust or pitting. Vinyl top is original and in like new condition. Interior is also original and from the photos I think you can see is as nice has you will find. My father in asking $14,000 but would discount the price to someone who will appreciate and care for the car. We also have some video of the car, message for details. If you have any questions, please call or message. (503) 851-6713 Photos: (Click for larger image)
