You are about to bid on a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. The above information in the stock info from the vin search. This is a SOLD AS IS no returns no money back sell. If you buy this vehicle you are responsible for dealing with your decision. So here is what you get. Body The body is in great shape. The previous owner told me that the Jeep has an accident on a car fax report but what damages are seen is a dent in the hood. (Shown in picture). There is no major rust under the frame. The exterior body has no major rust but has scratches here and there. It has a hardtop from a 2001 so if you get the harness wired in you will have rear defrost and wiper. INTERIOR the seats are in fair condition with a tear on the driver’s seat. The back seat is removed but WILL come with it (in the garage right now). It also has a new carpet set that has not been installed that WILL come with it too. There is a hole where the 4WD shift lever goes but is not on now (see engine and transmission). One more thing to add is that it has half doors from a cj7. They are simply a hole filler. You will need to get the proper doors. Engine This is not the stock engine. It currently has a rebuilt engine from a 1989 Jeep. The transmission is the same, rebuilt from a 1989. It sounds like the engine needs to be timed. The computer is hooked up and works with the engine. The 4WD shift lever is different for the two transmissions so that needs to be replaced. As of now to switch into 4WD you simply reach into the hole to change drives. The part is 50.00 on eBay. Exhaust The exhaust has a hole it before the second o2 sensor so it is showing a faulty senor when tested on a computer. The part from the manifold past the second bend is also $50.00. Suspension From what I can tell the breaks are good. It could use some TLC on the suspention. All I can tell you is it has a 6”lift on it. The previous owner told me that it “was done right” so there is not a quick fix spring lift. If you text me I can take pictures of what you need me to or get info on the fly. I bought this jeep with dreams of hunting but never got in the woods. I know that it would not be difficult to get this thing running perfect.
