I am selling my 1993 GMC Typhoon #1519. It is the Garnet Red with Gray color combo and came with the factory CD player option which made it 1 of 11 that were produced with this combination!It is completely stock and unmodified. In late 2010 there was nearly $8000 of refurbishing drivetrain to freshen up the Typhoon to like new!There are minimal scratches and scuffs as one would expect from its age, but it is in amazing condition. The paint is in excellent condition with minor flaws including some spider stress areas in the clear coat of the bumper covers which is only noticeable up close. All of the glass is perfect with no cracks or chips at all. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or cracks. All of the power items work including the drivers seat, windows, locks, and such. The only aftermarket items that have been added to it are the Alpine CD player, K&N Air Cleaner, and Boost gauge. The original boost gauge from GMC was never very accurate and was recommended to have an aftermarket added. It can be removed very easily if the new owner wants. Mechanically it is as sound as could be! It boosts right to 15lbs just as it should from the factory while shifting perfectly through all the gears and shift points where they should be. Recently within the last month I have had a tune up performed on it which included new distributor cap(NAPA Gold), rotor, spark plugs(CR42TS), wires, ignition coil, and oil change(Synthetic of course as it calls for)This summer it got a fresh set of rubber(Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500), turned rotors, drums, brake pads, shoes, and A/C charge so it blows nice and cold come summer!
