This auction is for a 1972 Ford LTD Brougham RARE 2 door hardtop. This car rivals the Cadillac and the Lincoln Continental! This was Ford's comparable. Low Reserve!!! Low Reserve!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 owner Great survivor car. Not molested! Rare to find one in this good of shape. 96364 original miles It runs, but needs some fine tuning. Does NOT burn oil or smoke!! Oil is so clean you can barley see it on the check stick License is a current Non-Op status meaning NO back fees or penaltys Original Blue and Yellow California plates included. Ford 400 V8 engine All new fan belts Very Clean Oil is extremely clean No oil leaks New oil change New Air cleaner New Oil Filter New Starter New Alternator Recent Water Pump Very Good Battery New Rotor and Cap New Plug Wires New Coil Rebuilt Carburator (needs adjustment though) New points New Distributor The did sit for a few years, thus much of the above) oil changed every 3000 miles (records to show everything up until 86,000 miles) Original paint and interior Beautiful interior Upholstery is exceptional material and design Ceiling liner is excellent.no stains or tears,like new Electric seats Remote mirrors Factory tinted windows and windshield Original factory installed 8 Track stereo Doors open and close tightly and with the lightest touch (perfect balance) Trunk area is in great shape Original Jack and Tire Iron Dash is wonderful, no cracks or warping or fading Brake pads are at about 70% Power steering Smooth riding car - like riding on air...so comfortable! You can steer with your little finger!!!!! The exterior chrome trim is in really good shape. Only a few minor tiny dings. CAR IS DRIVABLE SO YOU CAN DRIVE IT HOME Body has no Dent or Dings(smooth) And no rust. california car "Disclaimer" This is an exceptional old car, But it is not new. It does have issues. I will name some here so you get a good idea of the total overall condition of the car. Headlights do have a short in the switch Needs new tires, tires look good, but they are aged. Front right tire does not match. Vinyl top needs replacing. Glass all around is excellent except windshield - it has a small rock chip on drivers side winshield Plastic on handles to roll up windows are slightly cracked. Drivers side of the front seat on the bottom has tears in the fabric. The fabric is excellent on the backs and the entire rear seat. The sun must have weakened it on the drivers side,or perhaps nomal wear Muffler needs replacing Air conditioner has not been upgraded. Paint is pretty good, but the hood is starting to fade from UV exposure. Some very little scratches. But overall good. We have original set of keys and a extra set If I was purchasing, this is what I would do to it: Adjust Carburator Replace Vinyl Top Get new tires Get new muffler Change antifreeze in Radiator - been sitting too long. Then it would be a REALLY GREAT DAILY DRIVER Carpet on drivers side does show wear. The rest is nice though. Car does have a moisture leak...When it is raining hard...Front seat does get damp, but we don't know where it is coming from...but i think winshield seal.
